Many times people get confused with buying the correct size shoe when having to convert the shoe size from men to women and women to men sizes. However, in reality it's very simple!

If you wanted to convert a men size to women you would just add 1.5 to the men size. For example, a size 10M would be an 11.5W because 10M + 1.5 is 11.5W.

If you wanted to convert a women size to men you would just subtract 1.5 from the men size. For example, a size 10W would be an 8.5M because 10M - 1.5 is 8.5W.

Well, what about grade school (GS) sizes?

A little known fact is that GS sizes are actually just men sizes. GS are just smaller men sizes because they're meant to fit smaller feet! This means you could just follow the same instructions above to convert the sizes. 

For example, a size 6GS would be a size 7.5W because 6GS + 1.5 is 7.5W. And a size 7GS would be a size 8.5W because 7GS + 1.5 is 8.5W.
